Yes, premiums will increase for a number of reasons. For example, premiums are adjusted based on the age of your pet in order to calculate the likelihood that they will get sick or injured. However, we do our best to keep our premiums as low as possible.

Generally, we can’t cover your pet for pre-existing conditions. You may apply to have these exclusions waived for certain conditions, but the best way to make sure your pet will be covered is to take out pet insurance before they become unwell.

Unfortunately, vaccinations are not covered by pet insurance. It’s the responsibility of owners to ensure their cat or dog is vaccinated as part of their general care.

Every pet deserves to see the world around them, so we generally cover any issues your pet has with their vision, unless it’s a chronic pre-existing condition. However, you should always check the relevant Policy Document for any specific exclusions that might apply to a specific condition or treatment.
