The operator was very nice, but: I received several random calls about the insurance during the work day which are very distracting. Insurance is an important arrangement, but taking a client by surprise and providing no materials for review prior to the call are a very bad practice. Reading all the information over the phone with no written information provided is compromising the informed nature of the consent you are forcing to provide over the phone. The t&c of the use of my personal information including my card details are read to me after I provide them - it is tricking a person to an agreement prior discussing any possible implementations. It felt almost like a blackmail: you must provide all the data on the phone, and only then we will tell us why you need that. I felt extremely uncomfortable and put under stress as had no time to prepare my questions before the call (without seeing an offer or having an explanation why all of a sudden a quote changes from day to day - I don’t know what I don’t know!) My callback emails specifying time when I can get a call were completely ignored which is also frustrating. Why io you ask for them if never read? Is it a part if nit considering personal circumstances? The operator was not prepared for my call either as they did not know I had a cat adopted through spca and was at first reluctant to include this information to the insurance plan. I appreciate it is not the operator’s fault. But to me your communication with client protocol needs to be seriously revised. I do hope further it will be better.

Yes - perfect. Not too pushy but conscientious. Well set out conditions. Very well explained by Charli. One thing that needs a mention is the excess from total cost and then the percentage returned to owner. It can be a bit confusing for some. Also, I would like to hear that more than 20% of first years subscription is donated back to SPCA. It’s nowhere near enough given that many think they are doing a really good thing by taking out this insurance. It’s only $100 donation as a one off for me. That is insufficient. I could have had two free months insurance with another company and the SPCA would certainly not have missed my $100.
