Application: Being able to do this on my phone was super easy. I liked that I could scan the QR code on the pamphlet to automatically get the discount. Price: I liked that there were different price ranges but the comprehensive was affordable. External: Being able to find a Vet that used the GoPay was amazing! I haven't used it so can't talk about the collaboration / integration but knowing that my insurance has that capability is awesome! Extras: I would like the ability to have more options so like an insurance that covers dental and all vet visits, that would be amazing, the vet that I intend to use has a similar plan so SPCA Pet Insurance covers the unexpected, where as the Vet Plan covers like all vet visits and discounts on surgery so you probably need both but just wish it was all in one so I don't have to think about it.

The Lady I spoke with over the phone was very informative and explained herself with information pertaining to which level of insurance we would need for our puppy. She was patient and listened to our responses to make sure we understood what she was saying, so that we could choose the best decisions for our puppy.

The way exclusions work was not made clear. other companies have them written on the policy, whereas spca just do them...

The range of products I think is great and the fact they have higher limits and a higher age limit for dogs is great.

The way exclusions work was not made clear. Other companies have them written on the policy, whereas SPCA just do them on a claim by claim basis - so you make a claim and then assuming not a preexisting condition all is well. this is much easier, and I think they include more as a result, but for some it will feel slightly odd as they are not totally clear what is and is not going to be excluded - if they had a specific issue for example. When I rang, the person on the phone had no concept of what I was trying to ask about. Not a fan that they automatically call you if you put in a quote. I find that really annoying. I did one for a friend just to compare, and sure enough I got a call for that. I guess I should have used a fake phone number, but the systems could match phone numbers to see if the person has already bought a policy. I did several quotes before I bought which I am sure is not uncommon.

Although I renamed my cat companion. She cared for by her foster parent so very well. Coco has adjusted to her new home very quickly. Coco is very affectionate, active and curious. It was hard to pick just one cat. All the animals in the shelter seemed healthy and well cared for and the staff dedicated to the animals' welfare. The bonus of having Coco first vaccinations and de sexing already done meant we could get straight down to loving our new family member.
