I filled in the online form and an SPCA rep called me. That call lasted FAR too long! It went on and on and on........ The young lad, while otherwise polite, insisted on telling me my cat was not "legible" instead of "eligible". At first I made a joke of it saying: "my cat is clever but she hasn't learned to write yet!" but he repeated the mistake over and over again. Eventually, I told him that I was an English teacher and tried to explain his mistake. Perhaps he was dyslexic but he just didn't get it. If he and the SPCA want to be taken seriously, he really needs to understand the difference. But, despite that, I ended up buying the Everyday insurance for the cat I adopted.

Had problem trying to contact email address spca@petsure.co.nz had to call and ask for assistance to send required documents. person i contacted was very helpful after a frustrating time trying to forward documents required for completion of our application. the e-mail address we were recommended to use was completely different to the one showing on the bottom of our application.

Just joined. Found the process easy and they didn't put any pressure on unlike another company I had a quote from. Explained everything and answered any queries I had.
Great product, but prepare for a winter's worth of cold calls.

It really annoyed me how I'd be trying to shop for a quote, and having to hide the quote behind an email and phone number is justifiable, but what I found incredibly annoying was the barrage of cold calls following that - I'd say I got more than a dozen. I ended up purchasing the insurance anyway (without help from a phone agent), and while I'm happy with my policy, I've still got war flashbacks to the amount of calls I was screening during meetings.
